The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship
College is an exciting time in a young person’s life, but the high price tag can sometimes be discouraging. Through the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship, we want to help ease those financial costs for five hardworking students.
RISE created the Financial Progress Scholarship to equip as many students as possible with the information they need to achieve long-term financial success. The award recognizes dedicated students who have a desire to implement the financial knowledge they gain, while also helping these students achieve their dreams.
The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship will award five $3,000 scholarships to students who exhibit a strong desire to boost their financial knowledge — by completing an online financial course — and sharing what they learn through a scholarship essay.
Scholarship recipients may use the money to help pay for higher education expenses including tuition, fees, housing, textbooks, etc.
The application deadline is May 2, 2022, or until 1,000 applications are submitted, whichever is first.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be a full-time or part-time university student; or enrolled to start at an eligible career school, college or university next term.
- Have a GPA of at least 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale
